2. Funds Availability Schedule
YOUR ABILITY TO WITHDRAW FUNDS AT KEYSTONE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, 370 WEST UWCHLAN AVENUE, DOWNINGTOWN, PA and 1052 ANDREW DRIVE, WEST CHESTER, PA
Our policy is to make funds from your deposits available to you on the same business day we receive your deposit. At that time, you can withdraw the funds in cash and we will use the funds to pay checks that you have written.
For determining the availability of your deposits, every day is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If you make a deposit before 5 PM on a business day that we are open or before 6 PM on Friday that we are open at the West Chester and Downingtown office, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit.
3. Longer Delays May Apply
Funds you deposit by check may be delayed for a longer period under the following circumstances:
  1. We believe a check you deposited will not be paid.
  2. You deposit checks totaling more than $5,000 on any one day.
  3. You deposit a check that has been returned unpaid.
  4. You have overdrawn your account repeatedly in the last six months.
  5. There is an emergency, such as failure of communications, or computer equipment problems.
  6. Yours is a new account.
We will notify you if we delay your ability to withdraw funds for any reason and we will inform you when the funds will be available. Funds will generally be available no later than the second business day after your deposit or the fifth business day after your deposit if paying institution is out of our Federal Reserve District.
